After hectic parleys of four days, All India Congress Committee (AICC) general secretary in-charge of organisation KC Venugopal on Thursday announced that Siddaramaiah would be the chief minister (CM) of Karnataka while Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president DK Shivakumar would be the “only” deputy CM. The arrangement between Siddaramaiah and Shivakumar is a replication so far of the 2018 Rajasthan model of power sharing.
