Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has been issued a show-cause notice by the Election Commission for his 'Panauti' and 'pickpocket' jibes at Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Party MP Manish Tewari criticized the EC for being biased and persecuting opposition leaders. Tewari accused the EC of being absent when BJP leaders use intemperate language against opposition leaders and when PM Modi announced the extension of the 'PM Garib Anakalyan Yojana'.
